In a double-blind trial, 160 mg of Small Flowered Willow-herb extract taken twice daily was found to treat BPH as effectively as finasteride (Proscar) without side effects.

Question: Is your Small Flower Willow herb,the same quality as the european herb? Please let me know as soon as possible. P.S. Why your product is so expensive?

Answer: This herb is the same as the european herb and we do HPCL testing on our extract to ensure active compounds of optimum levels.

This product is expensive because it is not comercially grown in a large scale opperation. The cost is very high for the raw herb through out the world and there are only 2-3 growers who only grow in small volumes. Also we extract the ground herb 5 times to 1. So it takes 5 times as much to fill each capsule.

Answer: The capsules contain an extract of willow herb plus dextran (a sugar made by bacteria), no other additives or ingredients. It's a very simple formula. The quality of plant flowering tops used, when they are harvested, plus the extraction and drying procedure are key to the activiity.

Question: Dear Sirs, I would like to know if your Pro-5X is liquid extract in soft-gel capsules or powder extract in gelatin capsules. Is your extract concentrated?.. Please give specifics.

Answer: Yes the epilobium parviflorum extract is concentrated. There are no organic solvents used in the concentration technique, just water. We use a water extract of the the herb which concentrates the actives. Then a special drying technique is used before packaging in gelatin capsules.

Answer: It is important for us to bring our customers the best quality product available. Therefore we use glass bottles for its solid, non-leaching properties. We prefer glass bottles versus plastic because plastic is not a stable chemical and will leach trace amounts of its own chemical composition into its contents.
